CANDLES

A discussion on spells must also include a look at candles and the various colors and meanings. Many spells involve anointing the chosen candle with the chosen oil. It is common to touch the top of the candle then the bottom if the spell is to affect the one performing the spell. Or, touch the bottom then top when the spell is intended to be "sent off" to affect someone/something else.

The Candle's color is associated with meanings, giving the spellmaker options when performing rituals. The following meanings are common, but are subject to the personal convictions of each practitioner.

WHITE  Healing, Safety

BLACK  Eliminates negativity, Restores Confidence, and Courage

RED Love, Memory, Energy,

ORANGE  Pleasure, Passion, Warmth, Comfort

YELLOW .Clarify, Cleanse, Focus

GREEN. Money, Fertility, and Commitment

BLUE .Tranquility, Meditation, Stress Relief

PURPLE .Psychic Power, Strength
